A very cool deco-like design. The center of the image tracks the sun as it passes overhead from east to west acting like a sundial. The first in a series of glass panel designs that track the sun through the reflection off slightly offset glass elements. In this case, the sunlight also sparkles effervescently recalling the bubbles in champagne. Collection of O. Sharp and E. Barry of Seattle. |

Distored perspective makes this glass piece entrancing. Built into a split, unfinished wood sash, the two halves of the design are visually, as well as conceptually (hense the title), integrated by the golden, double-glazed band that encircles this mad pattern. The sparing use of dichroic glass elements gives this piece an extra gleem. |

Commissioned by Mr. Tom Oberto of Hermosa Beach, California to accent opposing doors of a bathroom connecting two bedrooms of his quaint, million-dollar beach cottage. This commission comprised seven panels: the bathroom's two doors, its window, and two windows in each bedroom. It was a grand installation and turned out looking fantastic. |
