SCULPTURE GALLERY
This collection includes a modest number of traditional sculptural objects, though the majority of my work in this discipline has been in more modern formats such as installation and conceptual work. Currently, I am incorporating high tech elements such as electronic circuits, digital sensors, motion control and kinetics.

Labyrinthine Monolith (copper)

metal
12 cm x 7 cm x 4 cm
Abstract

Labyrinthine Monolith (copper)   This is the most refined of the transdimensionalized labyrinths in my study of the topic. Made from electroformed copper, it is a contemplative unicursal sculptural object.

Cruxifixion

kinetic sculpture
25cm x 17cm x 5cm
Abstract

Cruxifixion   This labyrinth sculpture is made from audio cassette tape which follows a path around 34 pulleys over a horizontally oriented monolith of acrylic. With working mechanism, this is the first functional kinetic labyrinth sculpture featuring audio tape. It served as the "proof of concept" for sculptures that followed.

Labyrinthine Monolith (steel)

metal
120 cm x 70 cm x 30 cm
Abstract

Labyrinthine Monolith (steel)   This bouncy labyrinth sculpture constructed from steel rod displays a high degree of aliveness. Mic'd with a contact microphone yields very interesting sound characteristics. See a documentation video here.

Transdimensional Manifold Labyrinthine Projection (copper)

metal
13 cm x 15 cm x 13 cm
Abstract

Transdimensional Manifold Labyrinthine Projection (copper)   This is the most ambitious of the transdimensionalized labyrinths in my study of the topic. Made from electroformed copper, it is a contemplative unicursal sculptural object with a word embedded in the line. Can you find it?

Cruxifixion of the Best Mixtape Ever

mixed media
74cm x 35cm x 33cm
Abstract

Cruxifixion of the Best Mixtape Ever   This labyrinth sculpture is made from audio cassette tape which follows a path around 82 pulleys over a monolith of acrylic. Static in nature, this was the prototype for later kinetic sculptures executed with the same materials and concept.
